i have 2 , ther are aqualung seahawk diver knifes with the holster, they are in very good shape

eBay is a good way to determine secondary market value. According to what I can find on eBay in regards to this brand knife, they are worth $10-$10 each, possibly more depending on the age, condition, etc.

Marshall Fields didn't make their own merchandise….they bought it from other famous makers and retailed it under their own name. Doing that, they could offer good, namebrand quality items at a bit of a discount over the name-branded stuff. The problem with that is that you often find identical items sold by them with different makers' marks which makes it damned hard to complete a real matching set.

Yours, chances are, were made in Sheffield.

That said, some of their stuff, made by famous makers, can fetch a pretty decent profit. Others, lesser known or less desirable, will barely hold their value. They've put out such a huge amount of merchandise over the years, there's no real definitive source to look them up in.

My best advice would be to keep your eyes on Ebay and hope someone lists a similar item that you can base your estimate on. Head to Ebay and do a search on "sheffield steak knives" and see if any match yours.

I wanted to give this knife as a Christmas present. I have two that are brand new. My husband believes that it may be worth too much to just give away. Anyone with an idea what it may be worth? It is a single blade, and when open is about 7 inches long. My uncle used to call on small grocery stores and bait shops, it may have been a promotional item.

I have sold Winchester knives for anywhere from $10 to $150. Some are worth much more.

You will really need to post of photo of the knife to give us a better idea of what you are talking about. Believe it or not, there were some comapnies illegally using the Winchester name on products back in the 1970s. They were embossing “Winchester” on some really crappy looking cutlery.
